What is the process?

Step 1: Initial evaluation

We will focus on establishing your goals for getting out of pain and back to what you love. We will make a game plan for how we will work together to get you there.

Step 2: Calm down the pain

This phase can include dry needling, massage, cupping, stretching, and other techniques to decrease pain and inflammation.

During this phase we will work together to restore strength and optimize your ability to complete specific motions that have been painful in the past. We will also improve your mechanics and form to reduce the risk of future injury.

Step 4: Summit!

Return to your daily life, or sport, pain free and feeling equipped to keep enjoying the lifestyle you love.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you use out of pocket payment for your services?

By using a cash pay model, I am able to charge lower rates than a clinic that bills insurance. One big reason why is that I have a lot less overhead. I don’t have front desk staff or a billing department which saves my business significant expense, and I pass that along to my patients! This model is a great fit for you if you have a high deductible that you have not met.

I am able to accept payment with an HSA or FSA card. This is an often-overlooked perk of this type of savings account! I am also able to provide you with an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement for the PT services I provide.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

Great question! Physical therapy is a direct access profession. This means you can call me right away when you have an injury, with no need to wait on a doctor’s appointment or referral. This means you can get on a path to recovery much quicker!

I am trained to screen injuries and pain to ensure that PT is the right fit. If I am not able to help you, I will refer you to the right person or profession to help you get to feeling better.

Do you accept Medicare?

Yes, I am in network with Medicare. I offer PT services beyond what is covered by Medicare at cash pay rates. This includes things like help returning to sports (which Medicare does not cover) and dry needling.

Do you do dry needling?

Yes! I do dry needling for muscles, head to toe. I hold the CMTPT/DN certificate from MyoPain Seminars. To earn this certification I completed over 80 hours of intensive, hands-on instruction in safety, technique, and application of dry needling. This is one of the most powerful tools in my toolbox as a PT!

What makes this clinic special?

We work with you on a 1:1 basis to help you reach your goals. You can expect an explanation of all the techniques we use to help you reach your goals. Your long term health is our primary focus, and we believe knowledge is power!

What my clients are saying

Lauren D.

“I’m back to running again and rough housing with my kiddos thanks to Rhiannan! She is knowledgeable and empathetic. She treated me as a whole person, not an injury. She educated me on my knee, happily answered my questions, and ensured I was fully confident in my treatment the entire time. She often started our sessions with fresh solutions to my recovery that she provided from her continuous education and research. She empowered me to be an active part of my own recovery and I left feeling so positive and confident about my future physical wellness! She’s the physical therapist you’d want working on your friends and family. I can’t recommend her enough!”

Bob K.

“Rhiannan listens to the patient and alters the needed PT to meet the needs of the individual. She is very professional and considerate of the patient. She is always thinking of better ways to treat the symptoms.”

Judy J.

“Rhiannan is one of the best therapists I have ever met. To make a long story short I have had 5 surgeries in a year and a half, from my feet to my shoulder. She is completely honest and clear on her direction she wants to go. She explains everything about your surgery or injury and what has and will happen in the process of physical therapy. I move better and get around better than most 68 year old women do because of Rhiannan. I've never felt this good. Please if u have an injury or a surgery and need physical therapy she's the way to go.

Jessica T.

“I highly recommend Rhiannan! She is an expert physical therapist and was able to effectively and efficiently help resolve my issues. Her positive attitude and friendly demeanor make each visit enjoyable!”

About me

Rhiannan Rubino, PT, DPT, CMTPT/DN

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” ~Matthew 22:36-40

Hi, I’m Rhiannan! I chose this passage from Matthew because it is the reason I created Snowy Range Physical Therapy and Wellness. Jesus commands us to love our neighbor, and helping people get out of pain is the best way I can love the people of Laramie as my neighbors. I have been a physical therapist since 2018. I love that this profession lets me learn more about the wonderful creation God made with our physical bodies, and apply that knowledge to help people improve their quality of life.

When I am not working in the clinic, I love to spend time with my husband and our son. We enjoy skiing, hiking, fishing, backpacking, and gardening. I enjoy baking, especially if I can incorporate sourdough. I am a Laramie native, and I am proud to call Laramie home. I am grateful to be able to serve our community through providing high quality physical therapy care.

I am a graduate of Laramie High School, go plainsmen! After high school, I studied Spanish Linguistics at the University of Wyoming. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Montana. I graduated from PT school in 2018, and I have been working as a PT in Laramie since then.

If pain or an injury is keeping you back from doing what you love, please reach out to me so that I can help you get back to doing what you love.
